On Saturday 10th March Passage GAA Club & EuroSpar will host the Community Award project at Manning Park clubhouse. The event is geared to be a major night of music and song and John is eagerly looking forward to a really special Passage West welcome from all his local fans and also people in the music industry associated with John over many years. Guests are expected to travel from far and near to be with John for this gala event and we look forward to a special night for our club.

and boots, toys, bedlinen, curtains, carseats, and buggies at our Clubhouse in Manning Park from
9:30am to 4:00pm
No soiled clothing, duvets, or pillows please

Junior B Footballers - Darts Night in Ferry Arms

Passage West Junior B Footballer's darts night on the 10th of February in the Ferry Arms.
Great night guaranteed
All members and ex players etc are asked to come along to help keep the team going.
Some great spot prizes already donated - however more needed to
make night a success -would ask anyone who can donate to contact John O'Connor on 0874198032
The new Community Award & Appreciation of local volunteers in the lower harbour areas of Passage West and local districts, recently launched by the Passage G.A.A. club in association with EuroSpar, will hold a special function on Friday 27 th January 2012 at the G.A.A. Clubhouse at Manning Park. The inaugural recipient was local TD, Michael McGrath, and the pioneer project was a major success for the community. The follow on recipient will be the local Passage West Rowing Club in recognition of the clubs dedication and commitment to the preservation of rowing in Passage West over many decades.
All at the Club would like to say a Massive Thank You to all of the volunteers who hepled to make "Scrap Saturday" a huge succes over the weekend. A big thanks to the lads who got vehicles for collecting scrap from all of our generous neighbours, to the crews on the road from early morning, to the crew at the club, to the ladies who kept everyone well fed and watered in the clubhouse, to the lads in Cork Metal who were generous with their expertise, and to all those who donated their scrap and/or their time over the weekend and the weeks leading up to the big day.

Well done to all who took part in the Alan Power Memorial Poc Fada on St Stephens Day. There was a fantastic turn out, with 37 teams, and thankfully the weather stayed good so that we could all enjoy the day. The craic was mighty all along the road with some great banter and a bit of slagging, but always in the most sporting manner of course!!. Congratulations to the Lesters who had 3 generations of the family on their team - a fantastic achievement. At the end there was a 4 way play off to decide the winners with Eddie Ahernes team victorious in the Mens section. Carolyn Mullane's team won the ladies section and Liam Cotter's team won the U16 competition. Thanks to the Power family, to Tom Harrington and all who helped organise the day.
