Well done to all who took part in the Alan Power Memorial Poc Fada on St Stephens Day. There was a fantastic turn out, with 37 teams, and thankfully the weather stayed good so that we could all enjoy the day. The craic was mighty all along the road with some great banter and a bit of slagging, but always in the most sporting manner of course!!. Congratulations to the Lesters who had 3 generations of the family on their team - a fantastic achievement. At the end there was a 4 way play off to decide the winners with Eddie Ahernes team victorious in the Mens section. Carolyn Mullane's team won the ladies section and Liam Cotter's team won the U16 competition. Thanks to the Power family, to Tom Harrington and all who helped organise the day.
