The first one was in the sixth minute, a point blank save similar to Donal Óg's last Sunday and again after sixteen minutes. This was a high scoring match and at half time it was Passage 1-08 Blackwater Rovers 1-10.
The second half was a thriller with end to end hurling which featured 2-04 from Sean Synan Keogh and also 1-03 from Ryan Carroll who could only play 15 minutes after earlier playing for the Cork u-17 Development Squad, Best for passage were Cian Power, Ross McAuliffe, Sean Synan Keogh, Niall O'Connor and Anthony Kidney. Passage minor hurlers had a great win in a fabulous advert for hurling against a gallant Blackwater Rovers selection (Ballyhooley/Killavullen) in Manning Park tonight in the County 12 aside hurling league. This game featured two of the greatest saves i have ever seen in attending matches for over 40 years by Passage goalkeeper Gary Tett.
