Passage turned into the wind and played magnificent football in the first 7 minutes with great combination play and got points from Ryan Carroll 0-02. Blarney then took over for a few minutes and scored 2 points and then came a big turning point in the match with young Cork development star Cian Power saving a certain goal and after this Passage took over the game with a further point from Shane Burke 0-01. Passage ended the game with a magnificent goal from Niall O'Connor. Best for Passage were Cian Power, David Byrnes, Eoghan Murphy, Caleb Stokes, Jack Sommers and Ryan Carroll. The Final Score Passage 2-14 Blarney 1-02. Amid great scenes of delight, Passage Bórd delegate Tom Harrington presented Passage Captain, Eoghan Murphy, with the winning trophy.

Dec 4th 2011 - Minor A Football League Final - Passage v Blarney
Written by AdministratorPassage won the Minor A Football league title against Blarney on a very good Mayfield surface,playing with a strong breeze Passage got some lovely points from play and ended the first half with a goal from Ryan Carroll. Passage went into the break 1-10 to 0-00 but they faced into the wind and Passage supporters and mentors knew we would have an uphill battle to keep Blarney at bay.Passage scorers in the first half were Ryan Carroll 1-05, Gary Tett 0-02, Niall O'Connor 0-01, and Jack Sommers 0-02.
