The Passage under 12s girls travelled to Mayfield to play Bride Rovers in the County Final. This was a fabulous game of football - well maybe not for some of the big crowd who attended from all sections of the Passage GAA club and the community because by the end of the game many of them had no finger nails left such was the closeness of this clash.

Congratulations to the U12 Ladies who defeated Bishopstown in the semi-final of the league on Sunday evening. Having been beaten by Bishopstown by over 20 points in the earlier stages of the league, the girls travelled to Bishopstown to make amends. The Passage supporters witnessed one of the best games this team played all season and they finished victors on a scoreline of 2-7 to 1-0. All of the girls 'clicked' on the night and played some fantastic football. They now face a tough challenge as they prepare to take on Donoughmore in the league final. Watch this space for details and hopefully they will get plenty of support for that game.

The Passage Ladies U16 Footballers defeated Grenagh by a single point in Manning Park to bring home their first piece of silverware of the 2011 season. Passage had played Grenagh in the earlier rounds of this Mid Cork U16c section and also defeated them by a solitary point on that occasion. Watching the display of football during the final it was easy to see that both teams had a great deal of respect for each others ability, with both teams raising the quality and speed of their game in comparison with their earlier encounter.
