Passage played with the elements in the first half which was ruined by a 12 minute squal. Passage got the first two points from Ronan Harrington and Thomas O’Neill but missed a couple of good chances when Iniscarra got there first point in the 15th minute, from the son of former Passage player Tony Scott and they scored a goal just after this. August 19th 2011 - VHI Cúl Camp

Well done to all of the boys and girls who took part in our VHI Cúl Camp over the past week. We hope that you all had a great time, maybe made some new friends and that you will keep working on the new skills that your trainers showed you. On the final day of our Cúl Camp we were delighted that cork Senior Hurler, Pa Cronin, paid us a visit. Pa did questions and answer sessions with all of the age groups and explained how important the basics (grip, hitting with left and right, rising the sliothar, etc) are, that you need to keep working on them if you want to get better at hurling or football too. A big thanks goes to the trainers who put in a lot of work with the children over the week, to Ned and Noel for having the grounds in tip top shape yet again, and to Tom Harrington for coordinating the whole event. PASSAGE 5-4 TRACTON 2-3

Passage U 11s played Tracton on the new pitch at Manning Park on Wed evening in a highly competitive and entertaining 12 a side hurling match.

Tracton started stronger in the first few minutes and they duly took the lead with a fine point and they had a couple of wides too before Passage upped the ante and started to dominate around midfield through Josh Clarke, Michael Sheehan and Mark Coughlan and in the half back line through Jamie O Sullivan and Luke Tett.

The Passage under 14 hurlers made it three from three in the Premier 2 Hurling league on Wednesday night when they beat Mallow on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-6.

It must be said that Passage did not put in a great first half with only a few players at the level required for this competition. We dominated the first 20 mins but only had two points on the score board.

Passage minor hurlers had a great win in a fabulous advert for hurling against a gallant Blackwater Rovers selection (Ballyhooley/Killavullen) in Manning Park tonight in the County 12 aside hurling league. This game featured two of the greatest saves i have ever seen in attending matches for over 40 years by Passage goalkeeper Gary Tett.

May 27th 2011 - U11 Hurling Blitz

Passage u 11 Hurlers played their first 9-a-side blitzes in Cobh tonight against the hotting club Cobh A, Cobh B, Crosshaven and Shamrocks. The eleven lads that represented Passage tonight did themselves and the Club proud by playing a brand of first time hurling that really upset the 4 teams they played and with mixture of ground hurling, tight marking and also some fine long range shooting it was a pleasure to watch.

Passage Junior A Hurlers went back into league action against Glen Rovers tonight after a four week break and the lack of matches showed with a lethargic display which baffled the mentors on the line. Passage welcomed back Alan Keane, home on a few days holidays from England, and he showed glimpses of past displays and converted a couple of lovely points.

Passage minor hurling team travelled to West Muskerry to play Clondroghid on Sunday evening in the 12 a side non exam county league and came away with a victory despite nearly leaving the game behind them. Passage played some wonderful hurling in the first half with the wind and Ryan Carroll playing at full forward got a hat trick of goals and ten points, six of which were from play.
