Passage played with a strong wind behind them in the first half but after missing three good goal chances went into the break only 0-09 to 0-03 ahead. The Glen scored two points on the resumption before John O’Byrne got a good goal to put Passage 1-10 to 0-06 ahead. But some bad free taking and missed opportunities by Passage let the Glen back into the game and they gradually ate into the Passage lead and eventually through a soft goal won by five points.
Passage have a month until the first round of the championship v Douglas and no doubt Tom Farrell, the coach, will not leave a stone unturned to change the team’s fortunes. Best tonight for passage were Paul Holly, Ross McAuliffe, Daniel Howard and Alan Keane. Final score Passage 1-11 to Glen 2-13.

May 25th 2011 - Junior A Hurling Vs Glen Rovers
Written by Michael O'MahonyPassage Junior A Hurlers went back into league action against Glen Rovers tonight after a four week break and the lack of matches showed with a lethargic display which baffled the mentors on the line. Passage welcomed back Alan Keane, home on a few days holidays from England, and he showed glimpses of past displays and converted a couple of lovely points.
